CMK architects - Screens for Self-Portrait

Two curved, louvred screens with hanging rails for a new Self-Portrait store in Mayfair, London.

The screens are fabricated from mild steel and have a super-matte white coating. The gradually rotating rolled louvres with vinyl laminated aluminium inserts create a changing effect of opacity as well as revealing everything from glimpses of, to an entire wash of colour as you pass through the store.

Other Fabrications worked with CMK to define the fabrication process, materials and finishes through samples, testing and prototyping. We then fabricated and installed the screens.
